It's almost the new year, so let's close this one out with some new NEWS! It appears that 1998 will bring somewhat of a Stop Hitting Me reunion!! I'm heading into the studio in early February, and I'll be bringing the frighteningly talented Chris Gorczyca on drums, and the inimitable Toby Ramsey on the bass fiddle. Rehearsals for the sessions begin in January. More on this as it develops.

Well, it's certainly ding-danged official... I've just finished my THIRD week with Seattle-area band Captain Ned Vega$ and the Time Machine. I get to sing lead a lot, play guitar, and even play keys here and there! Fun! Come see us!

The newest news today is that it looks like I may be joining an altogether different cover band very soon. You might remember that I've been playing on the Seattle-area cover circuit for the last year with Above. Above fizzled out sometime in August, but I got a phone call within two days of Above being over from another band that is a lot more successful than Above could have dreamed of being. Since I'm trying to save up the pennies to get another album recorded, I'm probably gonna do it. More news as it becomes more of a set situation...

Major new changes taking place here at Yogi on the Net. I'm sick of looking at the old layout, so I'm changing everything!! Keep checking back, because things will probably look a little different every time you come visit. There will be a plethora of graphical changes, new MIDI files for every page, and I'm dumping the old, often-used 'frames' layout in favor of a new table-based approach. I'm having fun, and the changes look great! Check back soon, and see if you don't agree!

If you read the news item from last December 19, I guess you might have run over to The Music Connection site to try the Real Audio files. Well, unfortunately, they seemed to never have materialized. There is a little Yogi area, but nothing much else exciting, and there are no Real Audio files up yet. I'll try to find out why, but in the meantime, Real Audio has come to Yogi on the Net!! That's right, we've got Real Audio versions of all the sound files available in .WAV format right here, at the Sound Files page. You should definately check them out, they take MUCH LESS TIME to download. Oh, yeah, and a happy belated new year to everybody!
